Green Hills School of Dance

Consistent growth and the fast approaching summer spurred the expansion of Green Hills School of Dance, located at 2001 Blair Boulevard in Nashville’s premier community of Green Hills in the historic Belmont Hillsboro area. The 30-plus-year-old school had been bursting at the seams when the owner’s decided to add some legroom, 5,000 square feet of legroom to be exact. The original portion of the edifice is a converted residence, built circa 1925. The impressive architecture is pre World War II antebellum style, resembling the other residential structures that dominate the neighborhood.

Along with Olympian, the design team consisted of Design & Engineering, P.C. The expansion included the addition of two new dance studios and upgraded facilities in the existing section. With very tight lot constrictions, one of our biggest accomplishments was maximizing the amount of dance floor space and merging new with old while preserving the architectural integrity of the structure. Green Hills School of Dance now accommodates more than 500 students, of all ages, learning all genres of dance from formal ballet to hip hop.
